The Division of Dermatology’s training program is the largest dermatology training program in Canada. The dermatology residents interact regularly with internal medicine residents and staff, usually in their capacity as dermatological consultants. Division members continue to be world leaders in dermatology research as well as drug interactions. The department runs programs specific to wound healing, Moh’s micrographic surgery, bullous diseases, patch testing, acne and rosacea, laser surgery, skin cancer and pigmented lesion clinics. Their laser centres were created within the past few years, which allow dermatologists to perform state-of-the-art laser surgery with the most effective technology.
